Gilas Pilipinas beat Chinese-Taipei Blue by 16
July 16, 2017 – Gilas Pilipinas defeated host Chinese-Taipei Blue, 88-72 in their 2nd game of the 2017 Jones Cup in Taipei, Taiwan. Christian Standhardinger with 17 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists. Matthew Wright also with 17 points (4/8 from 3).
Kiefer Ravena finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists including a couple of clutch baskets in the 4th quarter.
Import Mike Myers with 9 points and 11 rebounds but shot only 3/11 from the field.
Philippines now with a 1-1 record. Next game will be against Chinese-Taipei White at 3pm tomorrow, July 17.
