Good world stage experience for gilas. It will help them progress for later competitions. They were a bit febrile. Puso gilas!
di ko mapigilan sarili na d mag comment kasi tama talaga yun ibang comment nyo dyan na “may problema sa coaching” once, twice then now 3 times na and lagi na lng talo sa end game then I guess the coaching staff should look at this. Gilas ako all the way, but I really dont think Blatche blends kasi even mag score sya ng 20 plus points eh d pa rin tayo mananalo….mas gugustuhin ko na si kuya marcus kasi he dont think of scoring for himself, what he do is he really blends with the team that is why nakakagalaw yun pinoy na players…mas matiwala pa rin ako kay Junmar and Japeth as big men kasi they know the play and they blend pero the problem is there were given limited time. Even si Jeff Chan, which is my favorite kasi it reminds me of Alan Caidic…kaso for these past 2 games eh bangko din….I hope this suggestion is being read by the national team because all our comments are good points to be considered…..Hopefully tomorrow Gilas will win….Go Gilas…Go ALL PINOY…..bangko nyo si blatche…this way makita natin ang SOLID PUSO PINOY !!!
oo nga parekoy,tama ka..,,full support ako sa gilas,,kaso nkaka highblood si coach chot,…binangko na un iba players…lagi nlang tayo natatalo sa crucial game…si junmar japeth at jeff,,dina nakita sacourt na naglaro,kahit sobrang pagod na ni blatche at pingris,di pinapalitan…feeling ko,,inatake si coach ng nerbyos,dina alam kung ano play ipagagawa…para bang naglalaro lang si coach ng computer,di pinapalitan ang mga players..sori po..disappointed lang ako…
saludo ako sa comments nyo, me problema talaga na sa ending lagi tayo natatalo. & focusing on how blatche played along side with gilas may tendency na naka focus ang scoring lagi sa kanya & madalas error pag nag dribble na siya inside the paint, mas gusto nya na galing siya sa labas bago sumalaksak sa loob. And it was noticed during the game with Argentina while Blatche has 2 fouls & sat it out, that was the time Gilas gave their heart on scoring.instead of posting low he is always at the top of the paint asking for the ball & we paid for it on the last game between puerto rico & phil during the last play & crucial minutes.
I believe sa coaching din lng tlga my pagkukulang.kasi kung fighting spirit pag uusapan,dala dala ng players ntn un.kayang kaya talaga ng mga players ntn yan.eto na ung batch ng gilas na competitive.tingin ko sa rotation nagkamali and sa pag maintain ng momentum ntn.pagdating sa naturalize players,tingin ko mas magbleblend sa locals ntn kung si marcus.kasi mas my experience sya pagdating sa blending with our locals.kulang pa si blatche sa blending with our locals.

gilas can definitely win.. i hope coaching staff can finally do the right thing tomorrow’s game.. give more playing time for junmar and japhet,i hope atleast gilas can end their campaign with a win..
Everyone has a good point here. We fans are just too emotional right now so kalmado muna tayo. With this world cup experience, more Fil-Ams will come out interested in playing for the Philippines. Madami dito sa US ngayon possibly sa college level. Hope Blatch will end up playing with the Lakers and help recruit Clarkson. I also heard of a full blooded Filipino player named Rosales who once tried out with the Brooklyn Nets. He’s a very good point guard at hindi undersized. And the PBA will continue to develop players. At this time, our basketball standard is raised up a little bit to world class level. This will create awareness of Fil-foreign players all over the world to gain interest in joining the team. Big companies in the Philippines should invest money on this team to move forward.

Malakas ang Gilas, nakita naman natin na ang mga kalaban kahit mas matatangkad sila pero ang Puso ng Pinoy pinakita sa buong mundo na kaya nating makipag sabayan sa kanila,di nila tayo kayang tambakan di tulad ng ibang bansa na tinatambakan sila.. it’s not yet too late Guys may pag asa parin tyo, Huwag na nating sisihin ang coaching staff, they tried all their best, siguro di pa natin tlga time sa ngayon..at least we show to the whole world na malakas ang Pinoy at ang sportmanship natin.

Mali pare. Si japeth hindi stretch 4 compared to ranidel. At kita natin si japeth takot gamit ng body against bigs. He is more of a small forward but limited perimeter defense. I cannot replace norwood for that. But japeth is promising he needs to be tougher against the bigger guys. Kaya si pingris mas nagamit dahil may depensa at di takot kahit undersized. Problem is if a team wins credit to the players. If the team lost blame the coach.
