  2. gilas says:

I think junmar fajardo was really impressive in this tournament. He deserves to play more minutes for later games, the coach has to give him more credit. He’s not MVP of the PBA for nothing. Jimmy Alapag as usual, a great point guard! Thank you gilas! We are proud of you guys! Keep up the good work for the Olympics qualifications.

    • Robert says:

      • Bry says:

Lol. Ang wild card sa continental lang. Fiba world na un so wala na tlga.

FIBA shall select four wild cards after all of the continental championships are done. FIBA is prohibited from selecting more than three teams from the same continental zone and to select teams that did not participate in qualifying either through choice or FIBA-mandated suspension.

  5. dong says:

  6. jing says:

    Congrats Gilas!!!!!

at least kaya ng pinoy tapusin ang end game with a win even without si AB.

Blatche also good today at least nabawasan na yun pagiging point guard nya….

Jimmy we salute you for being a True Point Guard….Kudos !!!

Junmar keep up your good game we need that sa Asian Cup.

The rest of the players salamat din we really thank you for your hard work πŸ™‚

  7. katorse says:

congrats Gilas! indeed, you brought back the entire Philippines in basketball world. you may won only a game, but most off all you won the respect and admiration of the hoop world… God bless…

  8. coah chotz says:

its time to say goodbye to coach chot! you’ve done well, and you’re now a part of pinoy basketball history. lets move on and give coach TIM CONE a chance to represent the gilas as the new coach, am sure he will not disappoint the gilas fans..

    • Wesley says:

I vote for Coach Tim Cone also. He is the perfect fit for team Gilas.

      • Ron says:

Yes Tim Cone is a better coach between the two but he imploys a triangle offence as a coach which is not a good fit for gilas. Coach Chot is well adept with the dribble drive, that Gilas is using effectively right now. I’ll go for Chot.

        • gabe says:

,yeah ryt.. hindi ibig sabihin nkapaggrand slam na e the ryt coach na.. remember we owe coach chot reyes a credit for entering world basketball games.. ganyan kc ugali nating pilipino.. hmmmm.. kunti lng ung may mga puso..

    • gabe says:

,anu ka..!! we owe coach reyes everything.. he brougth us to world cup.. bkit dahil lately nkapag grand slam si cone..? cguro dka pilipino, ala kang puso eh..

      • Tisya says:

I agree too gabe chot is a Filipino kaya dapat ipagmalaki natin sya.

Congrats coach Chot Reyes and Team Gilas Pilipinas! GL sa Asian Games!

  9. shaloly mae dollete says:

KEEP IT UP. its part of the Philipine Basketball history.

  10. Bay says:

One win after five games is a major consolation. Of course we could have done better. Wake up call sana ito laluna sa coaching staff. As I said, na-master na ng Team Gilas ang lahat ng aspeto ng basketball except for one… how to win the game. But again, with the exception of the last one. Mabuhay Pilipinas! Mabuhay Gilas!
