Senegal Player Pool for FIBA OQT
Former Kia Import Hamady Ndiaye is included in the Senegal Player Pool for the FIBA OQT Manila. NBA Player Gorgui Dieng who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves is not included in the 14-man Player Pool of Senegal.

Turkey Player Pool for FIBA OQT
NBA Center Omer Asik (New Orleans Pelicans) will headline Turkey in the FIBA OQT Manila, another NBA Player Ersan Ilyasova who plays for the Orlando Magic is not included in the 20-man Player Pool for Turkey.
Gilas Pilipinas will face Turkey in 2 tune-up games before the FIBA OQT, their 1st match will be in Turkey on June 21 and their 2nd match will be at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 1.

Team Canada Player Pool for FIBA OQT
NBA Players Andrew Wiggins (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavaliers) will not join Canada in the FIBA OQT Manila. Canada will be led by Cory Joseph (Toronto Raptors), Joel Anthony (Detroit Pistons) and Tyler Ennis (Milwaukee Bucks).

FIBA and Molten unveiled the official balls that will be used at the 2016 FIBA Women’s Qualifying Tournament in France, 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in Serbia, Italy and Philippines and at the 2016 Rio Olympic Basketball Tournaments in Brazil.

Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool was trimmed to 14 players by the Gilas Coaching Staff, these players will join the Europe Training Camp and the Pocket Tournament in Italy in preparation for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Gilas Pilipinas Coach Tab Baldwin will trim down the Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool to 14-players today, June 8. These players will join the Training Camp in Europe specifically in Greece and will also play in a pocket tournament in Italy in preparation for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament this July.
